The inspirational classic, More than a Carpenter, is now updated for a new generation of seekers with a fresh look, revised material, and a new chapter that addresses questions commonly raised today. More than a Carpenter offers arguments for faith from a skeptic turned believer.

Since its original publication in 1977, this modern classic has sold over 15 million copies, been translated into dozens of languages, and introduced countless people to the real Jesus. Now with new content that addresses questions raised by today's popular atheist writers.

Great resource

Fantastic and easy to read great resource for apologetics, bought for my 14 y.o son.

the tip of the intellectual iceberg.

Here your investigations into Jesus and christianity can begin. It's a great starting point, compelling enough for some to accept fully and for others to start looking at Jesus/christianity from a more legitimate angle. Christianity is not in antithetical to science or logical thinking. Quite the opposite.

Amen!

I became a Christian 39 years ago after reading this book and it’s still as magical now as it was then! Thank you Josh McDowell for being the catalyst in making me a believer in Christ.

Read the book instead...

Content is good. The voice of the reader is very hard for me to listen to compared to most Audible recordings. Just my opinion, but it would have served the customer better to employ a profession reader rather than just throw your son some work. The younger McDowell sounds like an excited adolescent and reads faster than necessary. Again ,just my opinion.

Narrator is a disservice

Once you get past the kid they used as a narrator and into the actual content of the book it's pretty good.

The narrator sounds condescending at best through most of the book which is not what you want when Christianity is an a low with young people. Sean did such a horrible job reading the book that I had to force myself to listen to it.

May 5th 1999

This book was the final piece of the puzzle that I needed in order to surrender to Christ. I was afraid of what I’d lose. Instead, I realized that He would never ask me to do anything that He wouldn’t enable me to do, and I surrendered!!! Thanks for your research you used to prove that Christ is our Lord and Savior!!!

Short but powerful

I listened to this book because my son's were reading it for a book club at church. What a great listen! Short but powerful! And the narrator, I assume the author's son, did a fantastic job!
