Publisher's Summary

As the months in the time loop seem to add up without end, Zorian forms alliances with acquaintances old and new in an effort to solve the mystery of the loop and save his city—maybe even the world—from destruction.

But while his mage skills develop and he pursues more advanced and unusual forms of magic, Zorian must battle necromancers, fanatical cultists, and vicious creatures—all while avoiding the attention of the lich who could kill him...permanently.

Awesome book

Just loved the whole story line and that all the characters are interconnected in some way.

So glad I stumbled upon this story

This is a hidden gem of a series. I am so glad that I took a risk with these credits. Paid off in spades.

Solid Sequel and Narrator does Fantastic this time!

In my previous review for ARC 1 I gave the story 5 stars but the performance 3. In this one.
The performance is 5 stars. It feels like Jack Voraces made some tweaks to his approach. A lot of the characters were less abbraisive sounding and I could focus on the story and not his choices! Well done sir!

The story however could benefit from better pacing in the middle, especially cos this book is about a “time loop” things can get really stale really fast. So there were times I was wishing the story would skip some of the tedium and jump to other new narrative beats or introduce something new to drive the momentum of the story. This book might have benefitted from a second POV character, or maybe all I’m saying is I wish we could have seen more of Zach Noveda.

Final story verdict: 4 stars. Overall 5 stars.
I knew Jack Voraces had the ability to be one of my fav authors was skeptic so he could do it in the space of 1 book. Thoroughly impressed!

Feels like it's full of filler

A very very slow start, but interesting ending. Not sure if it's worth continuing, but I'll probably buy the third just to see what happens. It feels like most of the details could be removed and you'd be none the wiser and feel like you didn't miss out on anything. this could be intentional to make it feel like you're going through the years of monotonous time loop, but that just translated to me taking about a year to get through the book.
