I LOVE this series, but I’m not going to lie… I really, really struggled to listen to Victoria’s character for the first 2/3 of this book. Had to take a few listening breaks… which NEVER happens to me. The storyline was great, but OMG what a whiny, self centred, nasty B**ch! If the point was that Victoria was to grate on your last nerve, Abby Craden’s performance was golden! I get that Tori had some interesting history that directed her attitude, but OMG some of her shit was just SO petty. Anyway… this book is still worth the read so that you can get the information pertinent to the bigger storyline of the Misters. If it had been a true stand alone, and not an important part of the Mister storyline, I’m not certain that I would have persevered.
