Another great Abigail Reynolds book!
Abigail Reynolds and narrator Elizabeth Klett make a great team, and this book is no exception. Reynolds imagines different versions of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, and Klett is the perfect narrator to bring her characters to life. She does men and women equally well, and her British accent is impeccable.

Just loved it!
As all Ms Reynolds stories it is very good. Well written. Full of wit just like Jane Austen's books. Sometimes you just laugh out loud while listening. Loved it. Highly recommend this book to all who like fanfiction.
A Swedish fan.

Enjoyed it but have a few complaints
First off, I was very deceived from the description of this book and the auto sample. I thought due to reduced circumstances Elizabeth would agree to be Darcys mistress. I wanted to see them both put their pride aside and admit their attraction/love. Alas I was wrong neither one even thought that was a possibility. Marriage or nothing for both. I enjoyed the introduction of new characters but I did miss Mr. Bennet. I never knew how much I loved his character until he was absent. Narrator was amazing btw.

Great story great narration !
I really loved this story. There were many twists and turns and new characters to meet. It was interesting to watch Darcy change his opinions about the upper class as the story progressed. This was a long story but I felt was well worth the time. Because of its length there was time to get to know the all the characters . I enjoyed the closure at the end. The narration was very enjoyable which helped me get lost in the story. I was decorating my house for Christmas as I listened. I've already made a plan to listen to this story again next December.

A book buyer's hesitation
I do not own this book. My review is only of the sample. I wonder if this book is simple too repetitious of other books that I've read; and, therefore, I have hesitation about buying this book. Dr. R Shechter
