lovely, not my favorite Mrs Piggle Wiggle
The narrator was very good. My girls enjoy this recording. I do not care for a few of the episodes (in particular the Doesn't Want To Go To School Cure- I had a hard time listening to the children ridiculing the little boy who didn't want to go to school, calling him "an ol' dummy" and "stupid". just not palatable to me no matter what the end "solution" would be.) overall I have a great love for Mrs Piggle Wiggle but this is not my favorite of her books.

offensive toward kids w/ intellectual disabilities
the book is too dated. it's not worth keeping around without a revised edition. as a psychologist I know that people repeat what they hear/witness. this book is so dated it actually used bullying those with low-IQ as humor. my kids started repeating the slow drawl and "dumb" talk. now I have to remind them... no, we actually treat people with respect no matter how they say their words. someone might consider updating this book.

sweet but not as good as the original
The narrator was excellent. She does voices beautifully. My 7 year old very much enjoyed this book. I thought the first one was a bit more clever. Ms. Pigglewiggle cures children of bad habits such as telling on each and bad manners. There were a few more gender stereotypes in this book than the original but nothing major. Just a few references to how nice it is when women cook. Over all it was cute and entertaining. I definitely recommend it!

Family road trip necessity
I had two children (age 5 and 7) in the car for a 10 hour round trip. This audiobook was the saving grace (saving sanity) of the day. The narrator's voice is pleasant to adult ears and completely captivating to the children's. They loved it so much they requested it over the portable DVD on the way home. Really. It also kept their attention so well we even had less rest-stop requests. - but it gets better - Since the story is actually about children behaving badly and then learning to be good through Mrs. Piggle Wiggle - my children were careful not to behave badly. Pure magic.

this is an easy and pleasant listen
This is a children-pleaser (and I enjoy it too). The narrator does a fabulous job. She is impressive at making the voices distinct but never annoying (to me). The children's problems are classic, and children now can still relate. This author really understood kids and human nature (which doesn't change, even though cultural nuances have)!

I have always been charmed by Mrs. Puggle Wiggle.
First, as a child myself, sitting listening to the radio. Then as a parent watching my own children become charmed. And now, finally, in my eightieth year, listening to these beloved stories on my Kindle, and being charmed anew. Thank you, Audible.

Magical and Fun
This sequel to ‘Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle’ was actually better than the first! This time with a splash of magic added! More common childhood ‘ailments’ were shown here, each behavior irritating or even dangerous for the parents involved.
Betty MacDonald’s world of characters has grown, but the children are just as delightful as ever. From finding out what tattletales look like to a pig teaching table manners, everything is showered with the joy and magic of childhood. And the look into Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle’s house at the end would have been a grand way to end the series.
If you enjoyed the first Mrs. Piggle-
Wiggle book, you will likely find this one even more entertaining than the first! Hurrah for Mrs. Piggle Wiggle!
