I’ve enjoyed all the books in the series so far, but this is one of my favourites for the characters, setting and some surprising twists that kept me guessing. The African landscape described is gorgeous! One of the ‘bad guys’ seemed too obvious to me, another kept me on edge for most of the book, while the final reveal was shocking. There’s a blast from the past and, as in previous books, a hint of romance. It hit all the right notes for me!
