I was recommended to read this book and it was a heartbreaking book with much redemption. The forgiveness lived out is amazing and only possible through Jesus Christ.

A powerful story of surrendering to God even though it wasn't easy, and being intentional about loving others even if they caused a lot of pain. Thanks for sharing your story, Deb!

powerful story

The story was well written and very moving. My only issues is with the narrator. She does a great job with clear fluid narrating but when she reads the inflection in her voice doesn’t always match what she is reading. She could be reading about some of the worst things in the book and her voice remains light and soothing. Besides this I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn the power of forgiveness.

I was glad to read the story, but the author's writing did put me off a bit. I think it would be hard to read if not a Christian, and still I though she was a bit too judgy.
