Delightful!

Perfect stories for an audio book. Just the right length for a break or a walk.

Out of order

I really enjoy Hugh Fraser and Agatha Christie in general so this combination was fantastic except that whoever ordered the chapters clearly didn’t read them because they do not make sense in this order. The Oracle at Delphi chapter clearly belongs after the chapter in which Parker Pyne states that he is going to Delphi - even considering the “twist”.

Solid, Clever and Grand!

And not a formula in sight!

Snuggle down into these involving stories and go to Persia and many other exotic locations. When Dame Agatha went on holiday, she didn't fool around.

Highly recommend!

Very enjoyable

I would've given 5 stars for the narration, but Hugh Fraser can't do a female voice to save his life. lol Other than that, he's very good. The stories themselves, I gave only 4 stars because, while they were all enjoyable (some more than others), many of them (probably none of them in fact) showed any clues to allow the reader to figure things out. While I love Agatha Christie, I do see that she hides critical information so only her detectives etc can solve things. I have a feeling that was a product of her time though.

Snack sized Agatha Christie

Short Agatha Christie stories for your listening pleasure. Whoever curated this collection should have done a better job of ordering because one story clearly should come before another in terms of sequencing of events. But if you are a Christie fan, this is a great collection of her short stores in one volume.

A Delightful Collection

I had no idea that Agatha Christie has written more than Poirot & Miss Marple mysteries, which I continue to read or watch TV dramatizations. Mr Parker Pine is a wonderfully dry and superb character, and it's a shame that his stories haven't been dramatized for TV; High Frazer would have made the perfect Parker Pine. I also enjoyed the final story about Mr Satterthwaite.

Hugh Fraser is an amazing story teller!

Mr. Fraser brings stories to life... especially those of Mrs. Christe. This book was a favorite because the stories could each be enjoyed on my short commute!
