Publisher's Summary

A sexy new brother's best friend romance from New York Times best-selling author Kendall Ryan.

There are a few things you should know about my brother’s roommate.

Wolfie Cox is...complicated. And incredibly sexy. Unfortunately, he has an impressive stick lodged so far up his ass, he’s about as emotionally available as a chinchilla. Actually, that might be an insult to the chinchilla community.

So, naturally, I want to ride him like a bicycle.

He thinks I hate him. Mostly because I’ve led him to believe this. It’s easier than admitting the truth.

And while Wolfie is about as soft and cuddly as a fork, I’m the opposite. A good girl. Reliable. Conscientious. Oh, and completely panicked about an upcoming work conference.

Wolfie’s usually allergic to altruism, so when my brother convinces him to help me out by escorting me to said conference where everyone else will have a plus-one...I say thanks, but no thanks.

Surprisingly, Wolfie is unflinching about this. And that’s the story about how I got stuck in a hotel room with my brother’s hot (grouchy) roommate.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

In all seriousness, this isn’t a game to me, and hormones aside, I need to impress my boss this week so the promotion I’ve worked hard for doesn’t get handed to his worthless nephew. But with Wolfie and me sharing a hotel bed, things get confusing quickly.

This is book two in the Frisky Business series, but each book can be listened to as a complete stand-alone.

Healing Love

3.5
This is an interesting story with darker tones then the previous book in the series. The subplot added dimension to the hero and the romance. I liked both Wolfie and Penelope and found them relatable. Wolfie is an alfa with baggage, but for the right woman he’s wiling to deal with his s**t. He is loyal to his friends and those he cares about and he’s sexy. Penelope is strong and stubborn.

This was an okay read for me. I liked the first book in the series better than this one. The characters were interesting, and I enjoyed their romance, I just wanted more than we got from both. There were plot points that I didn’t understand or like and others that just didn’t get dealt with enough, especially in terms of the story. There was a lot of time spent laying the groundwork for the next book in the series, that I would have liked to have been spent on building the romance in the one I was reading.

I listened to this story on audio and enjoyed the narrators. They did a good job of altering their voices when speaking for other characters distinguishing who was speaking.

I love this book and adore both narrators! 🤩

I started the Frisky Business series with this book and now I want to read all of them! I can’t wait to find out what happens with Connor and his baby girl! And I really want to know what happens to Hans and Meron in the first book. This book is so sweet and the characters are super Hot and amazing. 🔥I ADORED Penelope, she is such an amazing character 😍 This book was short and sweet and surprisingly makes you feel all the feels even though it’s shorter than the romance books I usually read. Great book! Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan (aka Zachary Webber) are my favourite narrator duo. He can read a phone book and sound absolutely sexy and irresistible 🔥Definitely worth your credit! 👍

Brilliant narration!

First off I have to say Jacob Morgan could read anything to me, his voice sends me into a dream state. Honestly! I was listening in my car and oh boy....it was hard to pay attention to driving lol
Anyway...this audiobook is absolutely amazing! The emotions of the characters are narrated so well I had trouble pausing as everyday life was getting in my way.
My Brothers Roommate is about Wolfie and Penelope. Its a rather emotional story and you can definitely empathize with the characters. The banter is entertaining, the whole audiobook just resonated in me and I can honestly say Im excited for more of this series!
A really enjoyable heatwarming, beautiful story!

Cute!

Mixed feelings on this one. The narration was perfection (Andi & Jacob) of course. Now on the story line wasn’t my favorite with that being said I love Kendall Ryan books. This one was just a little weak for me. But overall cute.

Now one of my favorites!!

The only thing wrong with this book is that it wasn’t long enough! As usual Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt were amazing. Definitely worth the read/listen.

Loved this brother's best friend!

I'm such a sucker for a brother's best friend book and I was really looking forward to Wolfie's book after meeting him in the first book of this series.

Wolfie is roommates and best friends with Penelope's brother, Connor. When Wolfie gets volunteered to go to a work retreat with Penny he does it as a favor to Connor... but Penny kinda sorta accidently tells her coworkers Wolfie is her boyfriend. So he plays along.

Penelope has had a crush on Wolfie for a long while, and her feelings come to the surface and are stronger than ever. I loved Wolfie and Penelope together and I especially loved that Wolfie was different than Kendall's other heroes. He is one of my favorite she's written.

I enjoyed listening to this one so much. Kendall Ryan's books are amazing in audio and she always has the best narrators. Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt did a fantastic job voicing Wolfie and Penny. If you're looking for a fun, sweet, and steamy romance- pick this one up! Also, I see Connor's book is next and it's a single dad/nanny book- I'm sooooo here for that!

Great one again by Kendall Ryan.

Got this cause if I really love Kendall Ryan & I knew narration would be awesome. Jacob Morgan & Andi Arendt are by far amazing & bring this story to life.
This story of Penelope of Wolfe was interesting. Not your usual story. Penelope is very strong and confident. She was so sweet, understanding and patient as Wolfe worked though his childhood trauma. Wolfe was broken for sure. He wants so badly to be good enough.
I felt this story had great relationships Brother/Sister, ex’s making healthy relationship, friendship & support with each other and Of course the Development of new love. There is no huge fight. You have grown ups dealing with real problems.
And I’m glowing to say Jacob Morgan & Arndt was amazing.

Love Wolfie and Penelope

I am so in love with story! Kendall Ryan is amazing, and hit a home run with this one! This book has such depth, substance, humor, huge sexual tension , heart, super steamy sex scenes, and all around varied emotions. I wasn’t expecting how emotional it was, and was sucked right into their world. It is a bit different from the “normal” RomComs, but that’s why I loved it so. It went beyond your typical brothers best friend is forbidden theme. The characters are complex, and it was heartbreaking at times with the main characters Wolfie and Penelope. Wolfie having a troubled past to get through, and Penelope trying to help him. This had depth, substance, humor, sexual tension, heart, and super steamy sex scenes. Andi Arndt did such an amazing job, as she had most of the dialogue. She is one of my favorite narrators, and she did not disappoint. Jacob Morgan did a phenomenal job as Wolfie. His emotions really came through so believable. I simply adore his deep sexy voice, but also adored how he brought this character to life. Well done!!

Mediocre Romance

Nothing in this story to get to your feelings. Everything is on the bland side. Voice actors are good though.

I really enjoyed this one.

I always enjoy a brother’s best friend storyline and this one doesn’t disappoint. Wolfie and Penelope have chemistry from the beginning and their journey will pull at your heart strings. I really enjoyed Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt’s narration, they also elevate a storyline to the next level.
