Definitely liked the first book better!

I listened to Book 1 and the novella book 1:5 and was pleased. This book I was a little annoyed with Katelyn’s character. I was even asking myself are you in or are you out. She was making life so much more difficult than you really have to! I get protecting your heart and specially protecting your kids heart, but her kids were already “in” before she could get with the program!

This book was definitely more “naughty” gab the first book. I wasn’t expecting that. Not that there is an issue with it, I just wasn’t ready for it after reading the other books. I would only recommend it if you plan on following through with the whole series.

Emotional and sweet

I read this book a couple years ago and loved it. Listening to the audio is fantastic. I love this story of loss, starting over and new love. Harrison and Katelyn have amazing chemistry and Quinn, Elle and Peyton are too cute for words. This is a roller coaster of a ride so buckle up and enjoy!

What a sweet and engaging story from beginning to end

What a good book and very sweet and engaging storyline that I wanted to keep reading and reading. I do wish that the language was cleaner.

Of the Beaumont services this is the best book

I loved this book. I have read all the books in the Beaumont series. I love Harrison. He is just a wonderful character. I love all of the books but this book is by far the best

I don’t usually write reviews…

I almost didn’t finish. The h was so shallow and irritating. I almost want to listen again and tally all the times she mentions how he is not her type because of his tattoos. Maybe make it a fun drinking game? I digress.

I kept wanting to give the H a pep talk because it was so cringey how much of a punching bag he was.

Book 2 in the first Beaumont series

It’s the telling of Katelyn Liam’s childhood friend, her second chance to love again, and Harrison,Liam’s longtime band mate. I am enjoying this series so far.

Harrison, the drummer, makes my heart beat

My Unexpected Forever is my favorite in the series. I have been in Katelyn's situation. I understand her situation and empathized with her actions/decisions. The author got it right.
I wish I had had a Harrison. He is so compassionate, caring, loving. He made this story my favorite. He is super dad and one of the most patient characters I have had the privilege of reading about.
Harrison is doing everything he can to impress Katelyn. The minute he saw her, he just knew. Harrison has found his and Quinn's home.
Katelyn's head and heart are full of doubt. She worries what others think. Katelyn needs to follow her daughters and open her eyes and heart.

I love Harrison's story. It makes my heart swell every time I read it.

I’m forever in love!!

This was my first audio book. I’m am just blown away by this! I love this book and decided it would be my first audio book. This was so much more than I expected!!! This book is why I’ve read the entire series and it was wonderful having Harrison and Katelyn come to live like this. Hearing it like this made moments seem more real and the story is just perfect. I do hope the series keeps going and that these two do get married. It would be sweet if they have a child together too. Here’s hoping
