Publisher's Summary

As they fight a war of good and evil in our world, the Fairy Tales need a protector.

All I wanted to do was take a break from college to check out LegendFest, some good ol' cosplay, and maybe find a lady to hit it off with. You never know, right?

My life took a new direction, though, when I found out myths like Red Riding Hood are real, and they’re in an ongoing war against evil to save us all. More than that, they are being hunted, mistaken as humanity's enemy. They need a mortal to serve as their protector, someone to keep them out of harm's way while leading the battle against the likes of the Big Bad Wolf, Baba Yaga, and other evil legends.

Now, I am that protector.

It's a tough job, but it's everything I've ever dreamed of. Even more so when Red and some of the other ladies show interest in me in more ways than just my ability to wield a magic blade.

Note: It gets saucy. We have fun on the streets and even more in the sheets, so you might not want to hear my tale if sexy fun scares you more than witches and ghouls. If you're a fan of Once Upon a Time or Fables/Wolf Among Us but also enjoy harem and the spice of life, this book's for you.

Ok

I think the sexual part is too prominent. I had worse that what she say. This is the kind of level you can expect from that book. Good but could be better.

Teen virgin fantasy.

The premise of the story is good but you get about 1 hour of story. The rest is just a virgins fantasy of getting powers now a whole harem of women all want him.

I've heard worse but ....

Right the only reason this doesn't get 1 star is I've heard worse. It could be considered an easy listen if you don't mind excessive corniness, blatant cultural and spiritual ignorance and disrespect, and a premise based on basically trying to redefine a synonym. I don't care about the sex, aex is fine, it's all the other blatantly bad writing issues that drive me up the wall. Theoretically this could have made good audio porn if they got a female voice actress for the female cast and added more diolouge. But as is even the sex scenes are kinda meh. Also having every government "agent" fit the trope of a 1 dimensional Mr. Smith shows serious lack of imagination.

But at least the MC isn't habitually swearing or chain smoking and isn't a complete idiotic Chad like in some stories I've had the displeasure to listen to. So like I said 2 stars instead of 1. Sad really the basic idea of myths coming to life and needing a champion could have been cool. Just needs better writing and world building.

Way to porno

I got two thirds through the book trying to fast forward or tolerate the over the top porno nature of this book. The story itself minus the porno is actually good but enough is enough. No one needs sex or to talk about sex and the body as much as this book. Wow! A sex scene here or there, admiring the body sure but this book it’s just non stop.
Narrated well.
