Not what I expected

Although the cover seemed interesting and the content covered an array of mythology, the narration is absolutely horrendous. It might be better to purchase the physical book...

Quality Poor

The quality of the narration is poor to say the least. While listening on my Amazon Alexa the narrator was either stammering or the recording was not edited correctly. The stories are good if you can get past the annoyance of the poor recording and fill in the blanks. Over all I think they should scrap this and start from scratch. Maybe with a different narrator. I wouldn't waste my money or credits on this book...you would be better off reading it yourself.

a lot of helpful information

This work appears upon cursory examination to be an encyclopedia of mythology rather than a cursive narrative, but as such, it seems quite useful for reference.

the narrator and the story at times skips.

I thought it was me and my device but the story skips at time. it's happened enough times that I'm returning the book. the story line is great and I do wish I could keep the book. this is the kind of book I've looking for

Really!!!

I am no expert and I've found an abundance of discrepancies in the 2 or 4 chapters I've had enough

Rambling Data

Just a rambling of data that is hard to follow. Not what I was needing. Sorry

It keeps jumping

I got this because the book that I really wanted to listen to was only available in German. I am really displeased with this book because the track keeps jumping similar to a scratched record or cd being played and skipping. the guys voice is unpleasant enough but with the skipping it make it not only unbearable but completely worthless. very disappointing.

So many mispronunciations

If you mispronounce Osiris then you shouldn’t be hired to do a mythology book. The performance is beyond horrible. I couldn’t even finish the Egyptian part. It’s too bad because I rather liked the content.

Skipping

There is a lot of skipping. Especially in ch.8
Very agitating to listen through hope it clears up next chapter.

Nice! This is reliable.

Nice intro here and the author the myths in a style that is quite accessible. This is a reliable source and a well-thought one.
