À propos de cet audio
After narrowly surviving my debut into the magical world, I made a promise to myself: no more hiding in broom closets.
But with the Mages’ Guild reorganizing faster than anyone thought possible, and naming me as their number one target, that promise seems a little far-fetched. Especially since my training with Callie and Dizzy, the highly experienced dual-mage pair, goes off like a cake in a cannon.
Left to find someone that can fill the role, it isn’t until a formal dinner party goes horribly wrong that I find the best (and worst) solution imaginable: Reagan Somerset, the leather-clad crazy woman who busted into my broom closet sanctuary in the first place.
Through an off-kilter teaching style and many punches in the face, I learn my true potential.
But with her happier busting heads and kicking in doors than staying put with a pupil in hiding, it isn’t long before the world comes crashing down. The Guild has found me, and they intend to take me alive.

having said that. obviously K.F.Breene has never, I assume worked up a sweat in leather pants. because that is the only thing. the ONLY thing that takes me out of the book. and its not just the excentricity of regains character because it turns out it's every females choice of pterodillium (psudo-latin) witch is madness. so I, to keep my mind immersed in breene's world pretend that its an alternate reality where the genetics of the sweat glands developed differently.
a stretch.... but it helps. ....a little.
oh yeah
and second. the sex and sultry scenes are not over the top and well timed. the very reason I don't read these kind of books is because usually the author has some kind of pent-up hormonal 'discharge' that they need to get out and it excreets out on every page. or at the very least between every line.
it ruins the story because it comes out at times where it never would come out. or it comes out so outlandish, that it breaks the characters core values and takes me right out of the book. can't read it.
not to mention not every character ever written has to have some desire for a 'menage-a-trois' or some dramatic three-way romance, where she has to break the heart of someone inevitably. but first leading them both on. tugging on their poor heartstrings as they chase and pursue.
in this book series?
everyone finds " the one "
you don't have to wait a whole series before they hook up with the "will they, won't they"
the obvious is over and now they can build on that.
this is good.
it's more realistic this way.
in short. Great story!
superb character portrayal
and epic tie-ins in the deamon days and vampire nights universe.
*spoiler* penny's BFF is the only character acted poorly.
sorry.
the first time I've ever fallen in love with a set of books that are slightly based Romance
