The storyline was great. The female narration was pretty much on point. However Connor’s narration was absolutely terrible. Nobody speaks like that in real life. Not how I would have thought it sounded like. Didn’t help make the story as romantic as it was. Also, the continuing threatening behavior towards Maci from the brothers was starting to get on my nerves. That’s not protection, it’s abuse. Maybe the author should have made her a bit stronger of a character to stand up for herself.
