The characters are each damaged in some way. the story is filled with irredeemable characters that refuse to take responsibility for their actions and bullies that abuse anyone who tries to escape a bad situation. I wasn't invested enough to finish it. I couldn't see a way to redeem the story or characters with less than an hour to go. I had 54minutes remaining and decided I preferred to imagine an ending where the rockstar went back to his life and the female character escaped the relationship and found happiness playing the piano in Macy's
