SO GOOD.. SO ENTERTAINING.. & SO WELL-NARRATED TOO

Oh boy I’m love.. love.. loving this Five Families Mafia world that Ms Ramsower has created with her sexy dangerous alpha heroes and complicated heroines.. and all I can do is echo the glowing 5 star reviews others have left for this very enjoyable and well-paced love story. There’s a good buildup as these two soulmates rekindle the embers of their love that never quite died out and Nico and Sofia’s second-chance dual POV love story was brought to life by two very talented narrators who made the character’s journey through potholes, lies, secrets, danger and revelations an absolute joy to listen to.

Worth a credit? Definitely.. its well-developed soft plot is sweet, romantic, emotional, layered, has good ‘family’ loyalties and has Mafia madness too.. and yippeeee I’m off to listen to book 3 right now.

Good story

I didn’t buy the first book because of the male narrator, but I love these two narrators and the story kept my attention. I’m on to the rest of series. So far so good.

Sofia and Nico

This book was so good. Nick broke up with Sofia when she was 15 and shattered her world. He comes back into her life seven years later when her father wants him to protect her from their enemies. There was plenty of suspense and romance. Sofia's older sister Alessia and Luca from book 1, made a few appearances. Her friend Michael turned out to be great. Uncle Sal shows up again in a negative way. The ending of this book was great. Ava Erickson and Wen Ross did an outstanding job with the narration.

Loved From Beginning To End

This story has plenty of edge of your seat suspense. The voice actors helped in getting me to love this second book of The Five Families series. Now that I've listened to the book I don't know that I could sit and read the book. I had too much fun having someone read to me.

This is one of those books that can seem based on reality. And this had me thinking of some of the shows that I watched growing up. Once I finish listening to the series, I can picture going back to the beginning and listening to them one after the other - just like a soap opera. If autumn wasn't in full swing in my area; I could see myself sitting in a beautiful garden, or on a swing, just listening to the author's words come to life.

Both Ms. Erickson and Mr. Ross are very good at their job and I'm glad that I get to experience it. They have a way of changing their voice so that you know another character is speaking. You will have no trouble hearing the emotions come through your earbuds/headphones. The voice actors made it very difficult for me to turn it off. It was tough to think about work when all I wanted to do was hear Ms. Ramsower's characters come to life in my head.

Perfection!!!

After reading Alyssa’s story, I couldn’t wait for Sofia’s! It had so many feels...love and heartache, happy, sad and scary moments, there was suspense and tragedy. Sofia is once tough chic...I love her. Way to go Jill👏👏👏 Now I’m ready for Maria’s story❤️❤️

Brilliant Performance by Ava Erickson and Wen Ross

4.5 Stars!!

Nico & Sofia's journey is intense, intriguing, and entertaining. This Second-Chance Mafia Romance got me hooked right from the start and couldn't let go until I was done lsitening! So expertly performed, that it felt as if I was part of this fabulous story!

Nico and Sofia are reconnecting many years after their hurtful break-up, and while Sofia wants nothing to do with the man that unexpectedly left her heartbroken, Nico wants nothing more than to keep her safe, and regain her love and trust. Their chemistry is explosive, and their connection still so strong, that what they evoked is almost palpable. They truly complement each other so perfectly, and deserve their second chance!!

The only thing that I really wish to have been differently, is for Nico's POV to have been at least equal to Sofia's.

I loved it all!

A sexy and intriguing second chance romance. It was slow burn that drove me crazy in anticipation. Shifting back and forth from Nico and Sofia's past and present together. Lies keeping them apart for seven years.

Nico is sexy and strong. A protector with a big heart. He's made mistakes and he's ready to atone for the pain he's put Sofia through. Wen Ross did an amazing job narrating Nico. A gruff and seductive voice that sets your body on fire.

Sofia had learned to cope after losing her brother and her best friend. Not an easy task but she's grown into the woman she wants to be. Ava Erickson did a phenomenal job. Her voice is sweet, sexy, and strong. She embodies Sofia perfectly. I could listen to her all day.

You'll love this audiobook. It pulled me in right from the start. I didn't want it to end! Amazing narration and amazing story!

Super Good Mafia Romance

Secrets, lies, love, lust, and violence. The perfect combination for a mafia romance. Nico, Sophia and Michael are the main characters. The story revolves around their interactions with each other and their families/enemies. The Italian mafia and the Russian Bratva both after the same man. Don’t miss the excitement and the surprising ending.

Uprooted by this series

My life has been rearranged due to my new Jill Ramsower book obsession! I’m so glad for audible because at least I can listen while trying to do other things. Lol!

This book has me yelling at the characters just like the last one. Sofia and Nico blew me away with their story. I was so mad at him but once the truth is revealed I’m am blown away. And Sofia! Good gracious this woman has more secrets than her father!

Wonderful Narration by Ava Erickson and Wen Ross. I will definitely be looking more into their works.
