I enjoyed the story but it was a bit of a bland one, a sweet story but one in which I was left hoping for more firecrackers, a lot more steam and maybe a villain or some sort of climax to the end the series. Instead there really wasn’t any chemistry between the characters no matter how hard the author kept trying to bring on some. Sparks started to fly in the last few moments of the book but then the book was over. Even the epilogue ended without a true sense of completion.
