Publisher's Summary

Raven returns to her childhood home to rebuild her severed relationship with her father. After a long year of capturing violent criminals and thwarting assassination plots, she could use a vacation.

But trouble is brewing on the home front. When Raven discovers her father is in financial peril, she's determined to set things right even if it means sacrificing her heart in the process. Meanwhile, her relationship with Christian is on shaky ground when a skeleton falls out of his closet. Will they be able to leave the past behind, or is the trust between them dead and buried?

Great addition to the series

This was one of my favorite books in the series. While Christen and Raven deal with issues from their past they come to realize just how much they mean to each other.
!spoiler alert!
The two finally declare their relationship to Victor and decide to make their feelings for each other clear. Other characters in the book also find a resolution to their personal issues from past books. The team grows stronger in the end and things finally end on a positive note for everyone!

more Nico. more gem.

dark like always does great word play. i love every character. I was hoping that Nico and gem would show a little more fire. I wanted more drama but know this was the brick work for the final book.

Dannika Dark is one of my new favorite authors

My gosh. First off, I have just recently given audiobooks a shot. I stumbled across the crossbreed series two weeks ago, and have listened to them every day. I can't wait to go back and listen to them again (ps Nicole Poole is a freaking rockstar). I was blown away by the fleeting moments early on that played larger roles further in the series with Raven's conversations and encounters. I am going to check out more books by Dannika now, I was completely captivated and I will be patiently, albeit eagerly, awaiting book 7 😊

Where is the series going?

Nevermore is the sixth book in the Crossbreed series. The story has a different theme by introducing familial bonds and a different kind of trouble. Old enemies make an appearance and will likely play an important part in future stories. The question of Christian and Raven’s relationship status is resolved. The only gripe I have is there seems to be a lack of series direction/ overall plot theme, which started with book 5. The narrator did a fantastic job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

Wonderful series

Nicole Poole narrates wonderfully, as always.

This story definitely gives more insight, though it lacks the typical action that I enjoy. Raven kicking ass is one of the main reasons I love this series so I was a little disappointed.
But, like every other book, Dannika Dark keeps me enthralled and makes it nearly impossible to put down.

SO Frustrating...but excellent ending

I have listened to all of Dannika Dark's series books and I loved everyone of them. I've enjoyed all of the Crossbreed books so far, but I felt like this one dragged on too long and made Raven out to be a complete idiot. After FINALLY getting her memory back at the end of book 5, I was so looking forward to book 6. But of course, Raven and Christian's love story can't be that easy. But this one had me pulling my hair out over how stupid Raven was behaving. For someone that loves to speak her mind, she was real shut off to explanations and jumping to a lot of wrong conclusions because she wasn't willing to ask some questions. Since she is known for doing nothing BUT asking questions, this didn't seem in character to me.
That being said, if you can get through the 8 hours of frustration, the ending is worth it... and about time!

What a great series. The Raven series is the best!

I am so glad Dannika said there will be at least 3 more books in the series. Without any spoilers I was so afraid after I finished the book she was going to end the series with this book. I love this heroine more than the ones in her other series. This was A great cap off book. finished it in 2 days.

absolutely entertaining

I love this world that Dannika Dark has created it's fun to read about it's absolutely entertaining sometimes it can be a bit of an emotional rollercoaster this book is no different and Nicole poole does an outstanding job of reading these books she gives different voices for different characters so makes you think that there's actually different people reading it she's just so good at illustrating this book and all of the books it would be a shame if anybody else ever did this cuz they just couldn't do it justice like she does.
