Yet another exceptional start to a second set of triliogies, Joshua Dalzelle and narrator Mark Boyette do not fail to deliver!

the storyline the characters all are fantasticall well drawn out. The author has kept the characters growth from the first three books steady and it was a great joy to see where he improved on them. the experiences that they have had and learned from you can see the growth in the characters

As with the 3 preceding volumes in the Blackfleet series, this book went by in a flash. I believe there was one point where the narrator confused the accents of two different sounding characters, which confused me as to who was speaking, but other than that, did his usual competent job. The story itself is wonderfully entertaining.

A mother solid entry in the series. politics, war, hard sifi (sifi that tries to be realistic), all in all an excellent book. only qualm is it ends too soon. 😄
