Great series
Fantastic book I now have a new author to binge on I love it when there is not only a male and female narrator but when they can also do a decent other gender voice it just makes the book even better

I guess I must have gotten caught up, in the hype. The cover indicated that Winter Travers was a best selling author so I expected so much more. First, I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviewers who wrote about their irritation, with the Heroine. Her insecurities were way over the top. In addition, the Hero characteristics did not seem to be those of a hard core 1% biker; he was way too sappy. However, the worst element was the plot. It was all over the place. For example, the Hero started out with very specific feelings, about his club, and had a clear goal to start a new chapter in a different town. Sometime during the story( the reader/listener is not told when or why) that goal just disappears. The Hero and many other members of the club also have issues with the work they have been doing. Sometime during the book for which there is no explanation, the jobs disappear and so does the issue? I can’t be the only listener that was bothered by this. I could go on, but what’s the point.
This book was included in the Escape package, which is the only reason I gave it a shot. I would have never spent a credit on this, due to its short length, alone. In addition, had I bought it on sale, I would have returned it, the writing was juvenile, at best.

I love Nickel. I loved this book and the alpha man had a big soft spot for Captain. Can’t wait to read the next in series.

Sex on page 60 not real!
Yeah, just not enough build up before the sex scenes. From too shy to say a word to ripping off the clothes in three sentences. No attraction build.
And the guy, yeah, not.
Two dimensional characters just didn’t cut it. Returned before finishing.

No MC action
This book was mostly a love story between a young nurse and an MC biker. Most of the problems were related to her. So MC problems were not involved

Narration the worse
Really? I can’t believe the other reviews, now don’t get me wrong the storyline isn’t bad but the narration is the worse! There is nothing sexy in the tone of the narrators! The female is tolerable but the male needs to be recast, just terrible!

Really no story
Really enjoyed the love aspect but Jumped around a lot like a story in fast forward.

Good story with entertaining narration.
I enjoyed this story. Karmen was quite a workaholic, shy person. Her past had her hiding and not believing in herself. Nickel had his own issues, but one look at Karmen and he knew what he wanted. With internal club issues, Karmen's past, and danger around them, these two struggled to find their HEA. The journey was bumpy but worth it.
The narration by Melissa Barr and Paul Brion helped me visualize the story and the characters. I enjoyed their storytelling.

It was ok
He was a great guy. She was super understanding. Could have been good. Just pretty boring. There was a ton of sex, which is fine, but it was almost fade to black, there was some description- but those descriptions seemed like they were from someone who never had sex before 🤷♀️…. I don’t know. I am not saying that there needs to be a ton of sex - because I don't care either way - but it was just odd.
