Story
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

Story
It’s two months before Amelia’s big audition for the Mystwick School of Musicraft. If she gets in, she will learn to spin music into powerful magic - but her Gran has one last-ditch plan to persuade her out of it: sports camp. A week of softball, sprinting, and sweaty socks isn't exactly Amelia’s idea of a good time - in fact, she's deeply, appallingly unathletic. By the end of day one, she’s puked her guts out in track, gotten a black eye in no-contact flag football, and firmly established herself as the Least Valuable Player at camp.

Action packed, certainly better than the last book
Having read this installment I know why I didn't care so much about the previous one; that felt much more like a bridge book. This one, however, is very action-packed. I both liked and didn't like one of the earliest reveals, I think it sort of cheapens things. I did like the new character introduced, I thought she was so sassy. There is a lot of really pivotal stuff that goes on in this one, and I really felt like we could see our characters growing up a lot in this one. The stakes were also very high, but that cliffhanger on the other hand just didn't grab me like some of the others have
I think this series might have peaked on this one, but honestly I hope I'm wrong

Love it
I’ve loved this series since the first paragraph. I read it because my friend kept pushing me to read it and finally did. I love the narrator she is great, it surprised me when she could do the Vacker’s accents. Love this series and hope you take the time to read it.

Nightfall
I like how Caitlin Kelly can change her voice and move it up and down. She makes it sound exiting at the end and I always want to listen to the next book straight away.
I would recommend this book to my friends because it is interesting and I like how Shannon Messenger put Sophie’s sister, Amy in and it gives it a nice twist.
I really like nightfall and I have really enjoyed it so far.

Keeper Of The Lost Cities: Nightfall
It is a very interesting story. It made me want to read and read and keep on reading!! I would recommend this book to people who love fantasy and adventure. I would also recommend it to people who get attached to the characters. Why I rated it a 5 is because, I LOVE this series and Shannon Messenger did an excellent job making the readers to engage with the book. Love this book and can’t wait to read the rest!!!

Book Six!
Nightfall is an excellent book six to the ever - growing KOTLC series. The characters are stepping up their game, more secrets unfold, and this book is action-packed with a hint of romance. Like most YA books, there is a love triangle in KOTLC, though Sophie is DEFINITELY considering the wrong guy. Who would want to date Fitz Vacker?!
More villains emerge in this book, making it more appropriate for teens. One of the main characters-the BEST character- mother is a villain and is being...well, an AWFUL mother. Sophie's little sister Amy comes into the series, Sokeefe is GOING UP, and Dex is pushed out of the square-which-is-now-a-triangle. Ro, and ogre bodyguard, comes into the series, making it even more enjoyable than it already is.
I 100 percent reccomend this book!!
