Dora is the devoted mother of twin babies, but, determined to help the war effort, she goes back to work at the Nightingale Hospital. There were many times I felt intrepidatiin as I listened to this recording, and yet even though I knew there would be sadness and unsettling situations, this book would leave me feeling half I had read it.
I am not disappointed. And I look forward to the next book in this series.
The performance as always is incredible!
