Okay, compared to the last book I really thought the rest of the series would lose all of it’s mc trope. But I was wrong, this was a bit different then what I was expecting. I really enjoy romance books that have sheriffs or cops solving mysteries and crimes, so that was a big yes for me and majority of my rating goes to that.

Other than that, I wasn’t super sold on the heroine. The things she did and say just had me thinking “what? Why are you even thinking that” lol.
