Publisher's Summary
Hannah Hudson decides to take a break from her busy restaurant and her life in London after her girlfriend, who she thought she’d spend her life with, suddenly walks out on her. She travels to a small boutique hotel in Kirkenes, Norway, hoping to spend a peaceful and relaxing Christmas by herself.
Kristine Miller loves adventure. A bank manager living in a small town in Louisiana, she’ll take every opportunity she can get to explore the world. Kristine travels to Norway hoping to see the famous northern lights but when she meets Hannah, a fellow guest at her hotel, she realizes soon enough that the northern lights might not be the most fascinating thing there.
Both women expected Christmas in Norway to be special but neither of them expected it to bring magic into their lives....

Narrator constantly sounds like she’s asking a question
I could not listen to more than a chapter of her rambling. The story may be ok if you read it.

Nicely written story except romantic scenes seem clinical
I enjoyed the story in terms of scenery and characters interacting on the trip. All works except the romance lacks conviction and the sex scenes seem clinical and unromantic. This reader doesn't want to feel like a voyeur. Too much minute detail and too little chemistry leave the romance without any pizazz.

Cute Story!
This was such a cute read/listen! And it sounds like this was a teaser for a bigger series to come. Yay! I liked the story and the writing.
At first I just couldn't get into the narration. As she narrates I just couldn't get into her tone. It was too sleepy for me, but then when she did the voices for the characters she was quite good. So not terrible narration, but just wasn't my favorite narrator.
This is also my first book by this author. I will defintely be looking for other books by her.

A great holiday romance
A great holiday escape that leaves you wanting to travel... Obviously in the hopes that you meet a hot English girl to enjoy the Northern Lights with. The author has clearly done her research and once again emerses the reader in a far away world.

Excellent winter read.
Lise Gold turns the endless night of the winter Norwegian landscape into a steaming romance.

Good book. Holiday romance is always nice!
The author did a great job with the characters. They had good chemistry and were fun to follow. The narrator did a phenomenal job with the characters voices and conveying emotions. Def a book recommended! I'm looking forward to the trilogy!

Love Glows in the Night
Hannah takes a break from running her busy London restaurant. She travels to see the Aurora Borealis. Kristine manages a small town bank in Louisanna but loves to travel. When they meet they’re immediately attracted to each other. However, Hannah is broken from a failed relationship. Can the Northern Lights lead to a healing romance? Recommend.

Sweet
I enjoyed this, especially the details about the vacation. It made me want to take such a trip and see the Northern Lights in person. Characters were nice and I enjoyed the romance. Rather quick.
