This Christmas rom-com was very cute. Story was fun and the narration perfect. Simple and frivolous which was just what I expected and wanted.

I wasn’t impressed by this story at all. It had promise with the “meet cute” and the premise of everyone having a secret, but it was so blatant what the sister and parent’s secrets were, it was actually quite annoying that they kept giving hints and the main characters didn’t pick up on it (were we supposed to be surprised??) and the female lead never even shared her secret, or really even discussed it from the halfway mark. It just disappeared. The love story started off good but got kind of boring, and again the secret was never revealed in the story, just mentioned after the fact that it was shared and no one was surprised. The narration was good, but overall it was underwhelming.

The story is cute, but the voice actor kept "breaking the 4th wall" to talk directly to the listener during important or tense moments, to basically say "did you hear that? Keep listening, this is important" *wink wink*. Every time I got so mad because I'm literally trying to listen and you're interrupting me! It really pulled me out of the story and ruined the emotional impact of important moments. Also, the "secrets" were really obvious and it was kind of ridiculous how the main character didn't realize what was going on.

Third. Nice romantic Christmas Rom Com.

Not a Christmas sappy story fan but was hoping this was a funny one. This was not pee yourself funny but it was fun to listen.
