Absolutely brilliant

This book was definitely not a diet book! It beyond surpassed my expectations and was surprisingly quite inspirational in addition to being incredibly informative. James certainly has a way with words to capture the reader and I was not bored even for a single moment (which is extremely rare for me). Bravo to James on an amazing book! I'm actually going to listen to the audible a 2nd time now!

waste of time

The calorie deficit diet is the original diet and we have learned so much more since that.
this book was basically an audio biography and a plug for his business.
his views on intermittent fasting and keto are wrong because he doesn't understand the principle reason for the diets to lower insulin resistance.
and this book taught me nothing.
the only good thing was saying to break up with your partner if your not happy, time spent doesn't matter.

Life Changing

If you read or listen to one book, make it this one. Improved outlook on career, body, sex life & thought processes. Will give you the info to create your own fitness plan without monthly subscriptions to industry charlatans! Still learned a lot even though I've followed on social media for years! #CFD #NeatUp247

My favorite “diet” book yet.

I listened to this all in one day. If you follow James on social media, you get that same dose of truth with love in the book. I love that his book addresses mindset and the hierarchy of nutrition vs workouts. This is an every day, real person’s guide on how to handle diet and exercise. He gives facts without losing me in the science, his analogies are so clear, and there is not an excess of boring examples - it’s such a great balance of info. I especially love the extra chapter about women’s cycles. Plus, his accent is just fun to listen to.

CFD!

I’ve followed James on social media for a few years and am also a member of the James Smith Academy. The best thing I’ve learned from James is the balance between training and life so I can enjoy both while chasing my goals. This is a good amalgamation of content in his online training platform and things he teaches.

Not impressed

I did not like this book. I had a hard time understanding the narrator, I thought his swearing was inappropriate and unnecessary, and I didn't learn any thing valueable.

Habits lead to success

This is a great audible. Who doesn’t love a sexy accent giving you straight advice. Will definitely listen to again when I feel like I am starting to deviate from all his success tips. This book is how to achieve goals and maintain a happy life. It’s all finding that balance that makes you the happiest.

Wowzza

James, you may possibly be my favorite person now. This book is real and given to you straight. I’ve been able to understand and comprehend things that never made sense and could never be explained the way James does it. Well done, great read.

Great read/listen from the one and only James

Loved every minute of this book. He talks about some new things that I have not heared before and got me really inspired to do some changes in my life.

Really recommend this book and I think everybody should read it and can learn something from it.

rehash of popular self help

nothing that the author said was untrue, but if you bought this book you're probably the type of person who reads the blogs and websites that propose general ideas here. Good for motivation. but you probably already know the information.
