It’s not as good as some of the others but it connects well. The fights are a little much. They were dragged out a little long in some cases

I found this book to continue on the slow decline that the previous one in the series started. The Author has a profound ability to drive a wonderful pace; introducing new powers and factions smoothly and maintaining my attention. However, similar to the previous book in this series, I couldn't maintain interest in the first half of this book. The second half picked up but was listened to more out of duty than enjoyment. The final two hours were top form! Here is to hoping for fresh ideas and a return to the masterful pacing of the previous books!
