FROM THE HOST OF THE GLOBALLY ACCLAIMED 'ADHD CHATTER' PODCAST

Aged just 21, Alex Partridge founded UNILAD and LADBible, social news sites which now have a following of 100 million people around the globe. A legal case over ownership in 2017 tipped him over the edge of the cliff into alcoholism, triggering years of mental health issues until, aged 34, he was diagnosed with ADHD.

Now it all makes sense.

In his chart-topping podcast, ADHD Chatter, Alex has spoken to dozens of experts on ADHD and related conditions in a bid to understand and improve outcomes for the neurodiverse population - and this groundbreaking book brings them all together, for the first time, in one place.

A blend of lived experience and expert insight, this deep dive into ADHD has the power to change your life. If you've ever wondered why you can't remember those critical appointments, how you can be hyper-focused one minute and down a YouTube rabbit-hole 30 seconds later, or why do people walk so slowly? then this relatable and unashamedly honest book is for you.

Written with Alex's trademark raw vulnerability, Now It All Makes Sense distils the essence of all the most important need-to-knows, from parenting with (and for) ADHD, to managing your mental health, your finances and even your shopping list. Most importantly it celebrates the opportunities and strengths, unique skillsets and positive traits of ADHD to remind you that you are NOT broken - and you are enough.©2025 Alex Partridge

Ce que les critiques en disent

Alex Partridge has delivered from his copious imagination and bountiful heart a beautiful, brilliant, and honest book that goes far beyond its implied boundary. Once he understood in depth the condition so misleadingly called ADHD [Alex] found sense where before he'd found nonsense, he found meaning where before he'd found the absurd, and he found love where before he'd found awkward distances. Partridge has written one of the most complete and moving accounts I've ever read about coming to terms with ADHD and turning what's advertised as a 'deficit disorder' into a gift which, once unwrapped, lights up darkness wherever darkness lurks. On behalf of all of us who grope toward understanding, thank you, Mr Partridge; thank you, thank you.
Alex is rich, successful and an entertaining and concise communicator. Alex is also very ADHD. You want to read this book for all these reasons. It helps that it is short.
A powerhouse of a book. Deeply validating.
This book shows ADHD isn't just for little boys - it's for everyone. From relationships to entrepreneurs, finance to parenting, this provides validation, hope, and clarity for all of us who have felt both 'too much' and 'not enough' as we are. A must-read to connect the dots of ADHD in yourself and others.
This book's ability to present an alternative perspective on ADHD, where individuals develop a profound understanding of their neurodiverse brain and recognize its unique advantages, is incredible. Rather than seeing ADHD as something that holds an individual back, it highlights how it can elevate one's capacity to contribute to society. This is a much-needed book in today's world.
I've learnt so much from Alex and sighed with so many 'A-ha' moments that I haven't seen in books before. Thank you for making us feel seen, heard and celebrated!
Truly life changing. The perfect antidote for shame.

Firstly, thank you Alex. As i sit here having recently finished my listen, i am overwhelmed with the surety this story could very well have been mine.
I pre-ordered this and then promptly forgot about it until I saw it was released. I can't tell you how many times i found myself laughing knowing each story once you began. My focus is so poor these days i have turned to Audible out of necessity. Unable to read more than a few paragraphs for lack of focus, Audible has restored my ability to consume information. You have a perfect story teller voice, which i greatly appreciate and i know each member of my family will listen to this as well. You have brought light to a reality that can be very dark.
Best wishes! All we late diagnosed ADHDers here in Canada appreciate you !!
P.S. I only got distracted 3 times while writing this review!!.

Alex opened my eyes to the ADHD whose research is not based on 6 year old boys. I am a 68 year old professional woman who made some wrong decisions throughout my life based not knowing I had ADHD and interpreting what was happening in my brain incorrectly. Thanks Alex.

Having been newly diagnosed with ADHD, I realized that I was asking myself a lot of the same questions that were discussed throughout the book.
I didn’t however, understand his constant roller coaster ride. It confused me - I would have to stop listening, rewind & listen again to really get the full sense of the various meanings & emotions.
I didn’t give it a full 5/5 because there were times I felt that the author was rather whiny, almost with that “poor little ‘ol’ me” syndrome.
