This was an easy listen as always I've been a fan of janet for years. I love her work. And the way Ms. King reads is probably the best reader I've ever heard.

I’ve read all of Stephanie Plum’s stories, and always have a laugh, but this one had me with tears of laughter in parts. Well crafted, and Stephanie never fails to have the most unique FTA’s. I agree with her choice in the end.

Is Janet even writing these anymore? The mid-teens books were excellent and there was even a little bit of character growth, but the last handful have seemed flat and without Janet's old flair. This one is awful. I actually can't finish it. Stephanie Plum is acting way out of character. She used to have a moral compass and lots of left-over guilt. Now she's carelessly doing things (major things) without any regard for anyone she cares about. I don't like her. And she has always been eminently likeable, even when she can't decide between Ranger and Morelli.
This book just feels like someone else is writing our beloved characters for "click bait" without any understanding of the characters.
Do not recommend. Go back and read the old ones.
