Fun but odd choices

This was fun! Just about what I expect for a Harlequin book, with the distinct difference of representation, which I appreciated.

However there were some odd choice in the narration...I'm not sure why they bothered to cast someone who was clearly not British, or at the very least not consistent in their British accent. The female narrator did all the description in an American accent, then switched to British for the dialogue. (And not well, it was clunky.) Not sure why they would have done this.

But overall it was an enjoyable read.
