I liked this book and really like this authors writing style vs other similar novels I've read in the same, genre. That said, I personally liked the first novel in this series better. Specifically the banter between the two main characters was more enjoyable in my opinion. Still good and an enjoyable read though. Looking forward to the final book in the series!

This is my favorite listen of 2022! I LOVE this series and can't explain how much K. Bromberg's writing makes me feel such a connection to her character's and their worlds. It's rare that I want to make a note of moments and quotes in a book but there were times in this story that my chest ached from her words...

J.F. Harding is fast becoming my favorite male narrators. His pacing and voice are incredible.

This was a great story and second book in the series. I dare you to disagree when you hear about Tutti, she just added that extra bit that I laughed so hard. The gentleman doing the reading when she was around was just spot on. K Bromberg please do a book just on her as an adult!

Three hours in I could not finished this book, as I could not listen to the female narrator any longer, she has the same tone throughout the story even the sexy scenes and she reads to fast I had to slow it down to 85.
After each sentence her voice has the same long tone.
The male narrator did a great job and the story line was really good, I agree with the other review, the little girl needs her own story when she's all grown up, she was just too funny lol
I bought the trilogy and really wanted to finish this book.. I guess I will have to read it instead.
But for now I'm going to start book 3.

OK so compared to Last Resort, I LOVED Last Resort and I like this one.

I do love that the series has depth to the characters and storyline. I just felt this one fell flatter then the first BUT I'm still in love with the brothers. They are sweet.
