Zoe Bloom has her life figured out. After a childhood spent begging for scraps on Boston street corners, she's clawed her way to a successful career and a safe place to call home. This is the typical light "beach read" romance with a quirky, somewhat neurotic heroine and absolutely perfect leading man. What it could use is a good editor because the dialogue is trite and repetitive. Easily 20% of the book could have been eliminated with no damage to the story. The schnookums and Peter Pan related references were like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I understand characters have baggage and can be slow to trust, but I found Zoe's stick-in-the-mud attitude a bit much. Parker is a true hero and in my head, is the saving grace to this book. Not my favourite in the series, but it was good enough to not skip.

This book has everything, romance, mystery, suspense and happy ending. The story keeps you interested trying to figure out what is next. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the story. I would definitely recommend this book to the romance and mystery lovers.

Not Just Another Romance

I love this story it’s so cute I love how tinker (aka:Zoe) saves Peter pan(aka: Parker) sister but then ends up falling I. Love with him so freaking cute also so hard when there isn’t trust in the beginning but 100% recommend this book for a rom com with a little darker side

I loved the story line, but there was one part when Zoe woke up with Parker’s face between her legs. No consent was provided. The author makes a habit of the woman being controlled sexually. The interactions are tastefully described, but lack of consent is a common theme. I’m going to ….. you… no choice provided to the other party.
