Too short!!!

The premise is so interesting and the story is full of incredible emotion and depth. I kept thinking I would find an issue with the timeline but not only did it all come together but there were twists I never anticipated.

Brittany Presley gives Oona personality and depth through her narration.

Easily a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review from me. This is a fantastic debut novel and I can’t wait to read more from Margarita Montimore.

this was an easy listen and thought provoking all in one. lots of fun. I'll keep my eyes open for more by this author and narrator

what a fun book

I wanted to like this book more than I did.
the author often moved out of 'show -don't tell' mode and seemed to lose interest in their own story by having one event happen to the main character per leap. then filled the rest of the months of that year with general killing time activities. (months of volunteering,books and dog sitting with no interactions or details whatsoover) author spent several chapters on drug using and parties, but one describing the character's trip through Asia, alone again with very few to no interactions. it's as though author didn't want to figure out more plot lines and barely hashed out the ones they had. could have been far more engaging.

narrator was fine at first, but i could almost hear the weariness in their voice in the last chapters. maybe they lost interest too.

I enjoyed this story. It has an interesting premise. It feels current and the whole story pulled together well. It is perfect in between book for easy listening. Enjoy!

Good YA Novel

A pretty good story with a lot of holes. Narration good for the most part but the male voices of the main characters were somewhat annoying and the English accent of Edward absolutely fake, more Aussie than English and not quite that either.
