Vester finds himself reincarnated into another world through a hero summoning - but not as the hero. He's the unwanted, accidental seventh summon, so four of the gods curse him to avoid him becoming a demon lord. But with the blessings of the two remaining gods and some creativity, Vester finds a way to live his life as a guild receptionist - and even to find a way to level up after all. Along the way, he makes friends and then becomes lovers with two women.
The book stood on its own so well that it didn't have sex scenes until near the end of the book, and I didn't mind one bit! I enjoyed the characters, the drama and the plotlines. The main character was likeable, and the voices were excellent. I'd read book two!
