A horror novel set in Edlund, a boring midwestern American town that suddenly is rocked by two kidnappings: one a young girl, the other a college co-ed home for summer break. The sleepy town has no idea how to handle such stress, but comes together to try and make things right.

This is a fast-paced horror novella with an interesting cast of characters…but maybe a few too many characters, as the back-stories take from the central tale at hand. Brian Hatch does a spectacular job narrating; and while the ending is rushed, this has potential as a movie or to be expanded into a killer full novel.
