The second installment in the Rich Demons of Hockey series, Our Pucking Way, picks up right where the last book’s cliffhanger left us hanging—and wow, what a ride! Once again, this story made me cry, pulling me through a whirlwind of emotions. The turmoil, the anguish, and the high-stakes drama had me completely hooked, and I couldn't put it down. Naturally, I continued my journey with the audiobook, which only deepened the experience.
Recently, I discovered that my favorite way to enjoy books—reading while listening to the audiobook—is called immersive reading, and I seriously do it every chance I get! This audiobook was an incredible experience, thanks to the duet narration by Alexis Paige and Troy Duran, who truly brought the characters and emotions to life.
Kennedy’s journey in this book was both heartbreaking and powerful. As she starts regaining fragments of her lost memories, we see the painful past she’s endured, making her struggle all the more gripping. And finally, we get answers! We learn who is after Kennedy and, most importantly, why. The suspense was intense, the action sequences were exhilarating, and the tension never let up.
One of my favorite moments in any reverse harem is when the guys finally start working together as a united front—and Our Pucking Way delivered that perfectly! Watching Sebastian, Carter, Jack, and Greyson put aside their differences to protect Kennedy was so satisfying. The blend of mafia, hockey, and dark romance elements made for an explosive and unforgettable read.
If you love emotional rollercoasters, action-packed storytelling, and a heroine surrounded by fiercely protective (and dangerous) men, this book is a must-read! 💙🏒🔥
