This one surprised me in the best way. The Wrong Quarterback had me hooked from the first chapter with its gloomy, slow-burn vibes and all that delicious “I shouldn’t want you, but I do” tension. The angst? Perfect. The pacing? A little slow in spots, but it worked with the emotional build-up. Parker had just enough broody crazy charm to keep me flipping pages, even if the spice level stayed pretty mild overall. Not every scene set me on fire, but the story? Totally worth it. Would I recommend? Yep. Especially if you’re in the mood for something messy, moody, and a little forbidden.

Never thought I’d cheer an obsessive psycho on to his end game.

The crazy love the ML had for the FL was both heartbreaking and beautiful. His mother’s sad response to losing her soulmate was reason alone for Parker to do anything to keep his by his side.

Didn’t see how we’d get to the HEA, but we did without jumping the shark.

I absolutely LOVED this story, ever single word.

I liked the story and it was entertaining, but it wasn't as good as the pucking series. maybe it needs to be more unhinged? also the narrators, the female narrator is good but is a little too whiney at times. I liked the change in the male narrator, but I feel like he whispered everything and couldn't finish a word if that makes sense? his acting was good though.

I love all of CR Jane’s books. They are funny and never a dull moment. And Parker (swoon) did not disappoint!
