Too short

I know it's a novelette but this storyline had the potential to be a very complete book and add nuances to the characters. It felt rushed and lacking depth. It's a good beginning I suppose. The narrative was also very good.

Story feels rushed

I feel like the narrator speaks too quickly at times. The story could be longer...ends abruptly.

I loved the story all though its short it's still very well written, and I would love to find the 2nd book if one is written.
