Historical Detective Fantasy Fiction

Un régal

Probablement l'un des meilleurs romans de Fred Vargas, mêlant l'intrigue à un symbolisme trouble et un humour déjanté. La voix feutrée et limpide de Thierry Janssen, sa capacité à rendre la voix et la diction des personnages sans tomber dans la caricature accompagnent superbement ce livre.

Narration ennuyante

Quel dommage que le narrateur ne soit plus le même dans ce roman. Jacques Frantz mettait en valeur l’écriture incroyable de Vargas, mais ici, tout est d’une platitude sans fin. Les intonations sont mornes, et à certains moments le narrateur lit cela comme on lirait une recette. Dommage car l’histoire est fantastique!
