Poorly formatted and edited

The biggest problem here is the format. It’s a bunch of long chapters where Scott reads questions and answers. It should be one chapter per flash card. Then you’d be able to skip to a random one to test yourself, or to mark the ones you got wrong to re-test on later. This is impossible in this format, making the entire recording of questionable utility, as it lacks any narrative flow or attempt at educating but it also isn’t functional in the manner one would use actual flash cards. Add the necessary chapter breaks and this jumps to 5 stars overall and on story.

On performance, get an editor, man. At 1 hour and 13 minutes in Scott messes up so bad there’s like 20 seconds of silence and then he starts the question over. The way he messes up is he switches two related but opposite terms in his narration, and the worst part is, it’s back to back with a question on the previous term, making a mess of it. Later he does a similar thing but uses the opportunity to provide some background education. Okay, cool, but again, going back to the entire purpose of a set of flash cards, would you want a flash card with a printer’s error and three paragraphs of explanation or do you just want the card to be corrected

Similarly he launches into self promotion a bunch, which is almost part of Scott’s charm if you’re familiar with his work, but again, focus pal. It works a lot better in his PMP Master Prep book. It’s not as bad as the constant upselling in that book but it’s even more out of place here.

There’s a good idea here but the execution is brutal. Don’t waste your money or credit.
