Publisher's Summary
Sara Wright knows better than to fall for a cop.
For Sara, an elite police dog trainer for the federal government, attractive women in uniform are an occupational hazard. But she gave her heart to a coworker once before, and the battle scars from that failed relationship are still fresh. She dodges every chance at romance with the officers she trains, focusing her energy on turning out the finest handler-canine teams in the country. But when annoyingly perky, unfairly sexy Isabel Marquez arrives at Homeland Security’s Northeast Regional Training facility brimming with excitement and a surprising desire to succeed, Sara's good intentions start to falter. She can’t help being drawn to Isabel's enthusiasm, and, okay, her long dark hair and brilliant smile don’t hurt, either. Keeping their contact limited to friendship is harder than she thought. When it comes to enforcing her own rules of the heart, Sara might need to break a few for a chance at forever.

Great listening
This book was written with love for dogs and love for romance and it develops gradually even if it is relatively fast. Some jealousy kicks the drama forward. Narration is excellent as usual.

I absolutely loved this book, it was well written. it could have had a few more scenes with Izzy's family or even with Sarah's make shift one. but over all it was a good book. I cant wait to read more from this author.

The Spanish, though!!
How in the world did this book get published on audio without someone first checking on the Spanish words? They were so grossly mispronounced that it completely jarred me out of an otherwise fantastic book.
Thankfully, it was only a few words and only a few times, because the book was otherwise phenomenal, as was the narration overall.
Great story and highly recommended.

Woof 🦮
One cannot possibly comment on Perfect Partners without acknowledging the vital role played by the canine characters in our story. They are important catalysts in moving along a romance that is as tender as their fur and as tenacious as their bomb detecting personality .
This is a lovely story. It follows the usual path of two potential lovers who must deal with the their own individual obstacles as they work toward their well deserved HEA.
As a plus, I learned more about the bomb sniffing dogs and their brave and diligent trainers who must dangerously detect IED’s before the bomb techs disarm them.
I look forward to enjoying more of Ms. Cummings work in the near future.

great story
like a ton of romance you could see the direction it was going immediately but it was still a great listen. I enjoyed the conflict and addition of the dog training.

Mispronunciation galore
Narrator does not know the difference between Wonder and Wander. Drove me crazy. Research on pronunciation is required.

Romantic, but very long & drawn out.
very romantic with strong erotic overtones. Felt so sorry for Isabel because Sara wouldn't come to terms with severing her feelings for her ex, Nicole. Somewhat frustrating that Sara was so reluctant to jump right in and become Isobel's lover.
