Publisher's Summary
The uncensored and long-awaited life story of radio’s most notorious shock jock, Anthony Cumia.
Today, Anthony Cumia is the co-host of the wildly popular “Anthony Cumia Show,” which live-streams to a huge following of paid subscribers; however, Anthony is most well-known from the legendary, nationally syndicated “Opie and Anthony Show.” Permanently Suspended is an all-access pass to the controversial mayhem that ensued on-and-off the air.
A must-listen for all diehard O&A fans, Permanently Suspended finally answers the questions that everyone has been waiting for: What really happened between Opie and Anthony? What was the reasoning behind the multiple firings? What prompted the tweeting about the Times Square NYC incident? What is the true account of the controversial allegations? What are the never-before-revealed details of Anthony’s stint in rehab? What does the future hold for his livestream podcast? These questions, and many more, will be answered.
Permanently Suspended is a humorous, no-holds-barred account of the legendary career and life of Anthony Cumia - a blue collar guy who made his dreams come true, rising above all obstacles to become one of the most well-known and successful personalities in radio history.

'Ant'ertaining!
Well read and humorous. Filled in some of the voids I'd missed over the years of listening to the show.
I'd always thought Sirius made a huge mistake with the firing of one of its best talents, even more so now that I've heard the other side of the story.
Please, please, create The Ant and Jim Show.

Thats it?
I had been a listener since the early Opie and Anthony days on XM in 2004. I stuck with the show right up until the time it all fell apart. the stories in this book for the most part are all stories that most listeners have already heard. Where are all the behind-the-scenes stories? how about some insight on the things listeners weren't privy to at the time? Don't get this book expecting the whole story it's a Reader's Digest version it best, very disappointed.

Awesome
Not much was said here that wasn’t said in the show over the years, but it was nice to hear Anthony’s take over everything. Being able to parallel his personal issues with his professional ones gives more insight to what he went through.

Loved it.
Great insight for into Ant’s life and the O&A show. Loved that Ant narrated the book. As an attorney, it was hard to hear another layperson butchering constitutional law, so the last few chapters kinda sucks. Loved it overall.

I didn’t want this book to end!
I don’t know how I found old Opie and Anthony bits on YouTube, but I immediately fell in love with Anthony Cumia, having never heard of him before. His stories, his quick humor, and his boisterous rants are some of the greatest things I’ve ever heard. For O&A fans, many of this book has been discussed in previous shows and interviews, but Mr. Cumia has a way of telling stories that captivates me time and time again. I am forever a fan.

Mr Misunderstood
I’ve Beene a listener and fan since syndication in Las Vegas. I was actually the first caller from Las Vegas. The show was so compelling that I felt I had to call in for the first time ever on any radio show and let the guys know Vegas was loving them. Having bee in trouble at work myself, and being misunderstood while explaining the situation, I can relate to Anthony’s situation. Hearing him explain his life’s experience in this book brought many many hours of entertainment and brought back memories of me mowing my lawn and listening to bits I heard live
Thanks Anthony
