They came to earth—Pestilence, War, Famine, Death—four horsemen riding their screaming steeds, racing to the corners of the world. Four horsemen with the power to destroy all of humanity. They came to earth, and they came to end us all.

When Pestilence comes for Sara Burn’s town, one thing is certain: everyone she knows and loves is marked for death. Unless, of course, the angelic-looking horseman is stopped, which is exactly what Sara has in mind when she shoots the unholy beast off his steed.

Too bad no one told her Pestilence can’t be killed.

Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her, and hers towards him.

And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she'll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

What a beautiful story. Make sure to get tissues too. Though there is a good ending.

However, audible, and Laura Thalassa there is an error in chapter 8 when it first starts with the audio. There’s a repeated audio from when they were both drinking beer (which I think was chapter 6 or 7).

Just thought I should let you know.

Always will love this story

A beautiful story. The actors did a fantastic job with this. I really loved it, I laughed and cried and really enjoyed it. Please listen you won’t be disappointed ❤️

This book was way more emotional than I expected 😭 There were a solid three chapters that had me crying, which I definitely didn’t see coming — but it also had me laughing out loud often. The FMC’s dry humor and sass were everything 😂👏

Set in a post-apocalyptic modern world, the Four Horsemen arrive and the world goes to shit – technology dies, planes fall, cars stop working, and chaos ensues . It’s a dark fantasy / urban romance with end-of-the-world vibes with a surprisingly soft emotional core 💔

Our FMC quite literally draws the short straw (well, it was a match actually, but whatever, same same 😂) and is tasked to stay behind and un-alive Pestilence himself. Spoiler not spoiler…her plan to kill him doesn’t exactly go to plan — otherwise this would’ve been a very short book haha.

It’s action packed, emotional, dark, and funny WAY more heartfelt than I was prepared for. I ate this up from start to finish. 🔥

🎧 Audiobook Note:
This is free on Kindle Unlimited, so I decided to do an immersive read. I had my FIRST EVER!! graphic audiobook experience, and I honestly really enjoyed it! The actors were all great, BUT, the one downside was that sometimes the music didn’t match the moment — for example, it would sound intense, like something bad was about to happen when it wasn’t, or dark and heavy during a light and loving scene. It confused the feeling and intent the writing was trying to convey. Overall, it was chaotic-sounding at times, but I still mostly loved it and will definitely try it again.

🖤 Pestilence 🖤 - graphic audio.

this was truly like a movie without the visual aspect, in the best way ❤️ the actors did a great job, the music during certain scenes wasnt super well matched at times, but besides that it was amazing!

It wasn’t what I’d imagined it to be. It was better. There is some lovely examination of the human condition paired with a tense slow burn. The performance was amazing but sometimes I felt that the music didn’t match the action.

Excellent Story
