Cute story, warm and fuzzy feels; like a slice of warm apple pie. Mild spice, hea, decent character development, great communication between characters, normal I love you's, not dramatic or overly romanticized.

Single dad, bisexual.... small nerdy Clark Kent vibes.
Gay boyfriend, bigger and larger, protective but a teddy bear.
Well placed dad jokes.

the narration.... leaves a lot open to... desire. there is not much heat or emotional depth in the reading, it feels almost robotic at times and the pauses in sentences that should be natural seem stiff and almost forced....but clear and easy to understand...

Sweet but predictable story. Unfortunately the narration takes away from it as well. The actors just read the book without much acting so you can’t really get into it or get lost in their world. I don’t think I’ll be reading any more books from this author or narrators.
