Publisher's Summary

Mitzi leads a quiet life as a professional matchmaker. Her cozy life is turned upside down when she is chosen as the matchmaker for an alien species searching for wives. Naturally, she refuses. Unfortunately, she’s having a hard time saying no to the dashingly handsome but domineering alien warrior. Although, he makes her heart flutter, it’s a good thing he’s not her type.

Jax, captain of the Talzor starship, is ordered to hire a shalhinari, a spiritual matchmaker, to find soul mates for six of his men. He locates the best shalhinari on Earth; yet, Mitzi Selig, the earthbound woman, tries his patience. To his distress, he is drawn to her beauty, questioning his judgment. Worse, his long suppressed empathy gene awakens, a trait not seemly for a warrior.

The magnetic pull between Captain Jax and Mitzi is astronomical. Yet, can a tormented warrior and a woman who refuses to leave Earth find love? A long light-year distance relationship is one thing, but looming danger could curtail any chance for their star-crossed passion.

excellent writing, narration is a bust

really enjoyed the story, it ticked off all the boxes for a good scifi story, there were some warm moments with the H&h, i found the story flowed nicely, Jax has traveled to earth for brides for some of the warriors of his planet, in exchange he will give a much needed gift to the people of earth, a intriguing story, this is a slow burn romance, if your expecting explicit sex in every chapter, this isnt that kind of book, as for my opinion of the narrator, she was the wrong choice for this book, Jax (the H) voice was like a bad british accent, the tone and the pitch were all wrong, Mitzi (the h) was sounding like some teenie bopper not like the age of 28 year old everything but the narrative got 5 stars from me, i hope the author choses one of the higher ranked narrators (andi arent) or someone with more of a vocal range, for her next audio.

this audio book was provided to me from the author for a true and unbiased review.

Planet Talzor Needs Brides

When Mitzi is “hired” to fill the role of matchmaker things are different... her clients are alien. She can still do this, but what if she feels a connection to one of the men?

This was a very enjoyable listen. There’s action and adventure as well as the romantic theme. A great story by Eva Gordon and narration by Elizabeth Walker.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Jax and Mitzi

I loved the audible version even more than I thought I would! Mitzi was perfect! Mitzi, a matchmaker, has been tasked with matching alien warriors to earth women. A task that is of utmost importance to the future if mankind. Throughout the story Captian Jax and Mitzi struggle to come to terms with their feelings for one another. Not part of the original selection on warriors, Jaxs empathy gene makes it's self known around Mitzi. But what happens when the human wants to stay firmly planted on earth, while as a Captain, Jax is an alien warrior...

Another Great Story!!

I absolutely loved this story… This is one story I couldn’t stop listening to as I had to find out how this tale would end. The story is bursting full of action-packed suspense plus the promise of the unexpected and surprising romance tale between an initially uncooperative, quiet, business-savvy matchmaker hired by a super sexy alpha alien warrior to find matches for his crew—and definitely not for him. Add in a head-hunting bounty hunter to ramp up the danger ante and you’ll be immersed in this great story. This is definitely another fantastic romance tale that the author, Eva Gordon, is so adapt at penning. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Great Story!

This was my first Eva Gordon's book, and won't be the last! Planet Talzor Needs Brides is part of the Shalhinari Space Chronicles. This is a fun, and sweet, Sci-Fi Aliens Romance. This story is well written, intriguing, suspenseful, and fast-paced. Jax, captain of the Talzor starship, and Mitzi's story is captivating. They share an instant attraction and a strong chemistry. Jax is the captain of the Talzor starship, and Mitzi is a professional matchmaker hired by Jax to find soul mates for six of his men. This was a fun listen. Now, I can't wait for the next book in this Series. Elizabeth Walker did an amazing narration. I enjoyed my listening.

love in space!

love this one! I've really enjoyed the last few match making books I've read lately but this is the first time I've read one that takes place in space. This match maker carries on with her day with her clients and all of a sudden finds herself find men dressed in black pulling her into a car. she figured her match making services were needed for someone important but she figured maybe some government officially not some hunky humanoid alien warrior and his hunky men who were looking for human female mates. it didnt help that the alien became a huge distraction and sh never imagined enjoying his company so much enough to be sad when her time came to leave the ship and secretly he felt a pull toward the human match maker himself. Then the time comes where he decides to take a mate himself just when she thought her work was done there and she didnt like the idea of having to find him a mate not when she was starting to develop her own feeling for him. This was a super cute and fun read with a little bit of humor.I look forward to reading more from this author!

Loved the book/hated the title

I really enjoyed this book, more then I thought and I would have given the book a five star rating but I hate the title of the book. It just does not fit the book at all, while the name of the project is "Planet Talzor needs Brides" that is not a good name for the book. It almost made me pass the book up. This is a great easy read story with as you can guess a main character from another planet but it is set on earth (for the most part) and a great story. Do your self a favor and read/listen to this book, you will not be disappointed.

A Romantic fun read! 🤓👍🏻

I just enjoyed listening to this book! The performance was really good and the writing was excellent. The story moves along at a good pace and gives a fresh approach to the alien bride genre. A fun and easy listen. I’d recommend this book to anyone. The Cover Art is artfully done .The star rating I gave was given after thinking about each and every category. So, grab a favorite beverage and enjoy this book/listen!

An entertaining alien romance

Planet Talzor Needs Brides is the first alien romance book that I've read and also the first book that I've read by this author. Compared to some of the other alien romance books on the market, the alien aspect of this book is pretty mild. Jax is from the planet Talzor, but his physical appearance closely resembles that of Earth humans. The author does a great job of creating a unique storyline and world for this book. The majority of the book takes place either on earth or on Jax's space ship. The reader does learn about Jax's heritage and some of the worlds that he's lived on, but I would have liked to have "seen" more about those worlds. I'm not sure if this is the first book of a series; if it is, then I hope to get that opportunity with the next book(s) in the series. The romance between Mitzi and Jax is a slow burn romance. Both of them try to fight their feelings for the other because they both think that Mitzi won't decide to leave Earth. The book does have a HEA and includes an epilogue that nicely wraps up Mitzi and Jax's story. Overall, I really enjoyed the audiobook. This book was an interesting and entertaining read. The narrator does a really good job of performing the story, but I would have liked there to be a little more variation between her different character performances (at times it was a little difficult to distinguish who was "speaking" in the book).

Fantastic and Fun

This was an overall great romantic feel good audiobook. It had lots of fun, sweet and soft moments. In addition, it also carried action, suspense and thrills! Besides getting frustrated with the "do I or don't I" seen in all romance books, where you just want to shake the heroine, I was in tune to every moment. The narrator did an awesome job making it feel as if the book was being played out before you. I hope there is more to come because I think this could be a fantastic series. Either way, I will be looking for more Eva Gordon to indulge in.
