Publisher's Summary

Theirs was a marriage made in tabloid heaven, but no sooner had supermodel Laura Ayars and Celtics star David Baskin said “I do” than tragedy struck. While honeymooning on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, David went out for a swim - and never returned.

Now widowed and grieving, Laura has a thousand questions and no answers. Her search for the truth will draw her into a web of lies and deception that stretches back 30 years - while on the court at the Boston Garden, a rookie phenom makes his spectacular debut....

Amazing All Around

This is the best book i have listened to in a long time, and Scott Brick was flawless. It kept me entertained for hours and kept me guessing until the end. Well done Mr. Coben.

Some things don't add up...

Well I'm not really a fan of books where the story is a little too unbelievable. It was written in 2010, and one of the characters still goes to check the "phone book". Who has a phone book? Then the main character's father, a doctor, is reviewing patient files at home! You NEVER take that sort of think out of the hospital or even your office! This is basically a crime/passion harlequin romance novel, so I ddn't really care for it much, but I will finish it, Halfway through at this point, it better turn around..quickly!

melodramatic claptrap

Poor Scott Brick, so many great books out there and he got stuck narrating this drivel. I cannot recommend this book at all.
