Still confused by the entire scene at the end. Listened to the scene twice trying to figure out what happened. Seemed overly complex when there were totally reasonable solutions available… like having a conversation.

Good narrators but rushed story

Both narrators are great. 5/5
But the story itself is a copy/paste of all other "dark" mafia romance books, including the "strong" female lead. She's as much of a horny jellyfish 18 year old as all the others. If you are new to this genre, then it might be enjoyable. For mature adults familiar with this genre, I suggest skipping this one. You ain't missing much (unless you just want to hear Teddy Hamilton's voice, then just listen to his chapters).
I DNF 2 hours into the 5 hour book.

the writing is ridiculous. The 'plot' is thin, the character actions and motivations are minimal, the inner dialogue is beyond painful. and it's not even spicy, it's like the author just threw every 'dirty' idea into a string of sentences and said good enough I just cannot. DNF @ 54%
