Tone of Narration is Awful!

The book was average, nothing spectacular, but I feel as though I would’ve liked it better if the entirety of the book wasn’t read in the same tone. Every sentence sounded like a question, and it was hard to follow who was talking because everything was said identically. Ruined the book for me TBH
