I adored Parker in Cold Evidence and loved following his developing friendship with Lucas. I was delighted to meet him again in this novel, as he comes to the rescue of a brilliant but insecure scientist. His character would have been tricky to write. His role in the unfolding plot was ambiguous and often harsh, and yet his sweet personality seemed to shine through despite his behaviour and decisions. This ended up being one of my favourite Evidence books.

I’ve been listening to Rachel Grant’s Evidence Series and haven’t been disappointed. I love her characters and how they are all untwined. The storylines are a perfect combination of mystery, suspense and hot romance.
