Summary

I adored Parker in Cold Evidence and loved following his developing friendship with Lucas. I was delighted to meet him again in this novel, as he comes to the rescue of a brilliant but insecure scientist. His character would have been tricky to write. His role in the unfolding plot was ambiguous and often harsh, and yet his sweet personality seemed to shine through despite his behaviour and decisions. This ended up being one of my favourite Evidence books.

I’ve been diving into Rachel Grant’s Evidence Series, and it’s been an absolute thrill. Her characters are richly developed and seamlessly interconnected, making every book feel like part of a larger, intricate puzzle. The storylines strike the perfect balance of mystery, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and sizzling romance—an addictive mix that never disappoints.
