À propos de cet audio
There are no easy or clear-cut answers when figuring out why we exist. In this work, no idea is excluded, from there being no purpose whatsoever, to the possible continuation of a soul. Ideas about how and why we exist, and even the best way to live our lives, are based on observable scientific/natural phenomena, as well as logical reason. Feel free to skip to different chapters, the first part of the book is focused on science, then the content focuses on practical living. Of course, every possibility is still viable, but there are definite preferences when considering evidence about what is most likely to be true.
Using the method of analyzing the possibilities, we can be better informed in choosing possible reasons for our own existence, and decide on our best, usable, individual, path in which to live our lives. Heavily referenced research on scientific knowledge is used to emphasize metaphysical ideas, then these inferences are applied to practical actions in living our lives. Learn how to effectively take on everyday life with science-backed steps on how to be happy and find fulfillment.
The following topics (and many more) are analyzed: violence/peacefulness, right/wrong, food, laws, cultural pressure, wealth, truth, basic rights, technological advances, music, moral decisions, moderation, physical touch, superiority, imperialism, afterlife ideas, religion, goals, role of government, freedom/restriction, personality traits, plants and animals, friendship, selfishness, and magnanimity.
